Have any of guys drawn a margret F tag
« on: July 15, 2008, 10:55:07 AM »
Have any of guys drawn a margret F tag or had experiance with archery hunting in that unit. Are their places I can get away from the roads. Will I have moterized access. Does anyone know if the cow hunters negitivly affect the bull hunting can i distance myself from them. (you should be able to shoot a cow 200yrds from the road right?). Do the raghorns still have small heards of cows.
Thank you for you help its time to get serious for me

A buddy of mine drew that Margret archery tag a few years back. Since there is a fair amount of Weyhauser land it's best to park at a gate and walk in. Just hope for not too dry of weather or they shut down access into it.

Well when he drew that tag the first time and they(weyhauser) closed it due to high fire danger. So he challenged the permit and they reinstated his permits and then he ended drawing the same tag 2 years later.

Have some friends who have hunted this unit in the past, with alot of info. Looking forward to a great hunt :chuckle:
